JDM Contractors is a full service general contracting firm founded with the key objective of working for a select group of clients at any one time and to dedicate only senior personnel to provide premium service and achieve results for them. The structure of our firm is built on the seamless overlap of our individual areas of strength, pre-construction and estimating, project management, and field supervision and operations. Each of the three principals has an extensive track record of delivering fast-paced complex projects with stringent budgets and challenging schedules.
Throughout our over 70 years of combined experience, we have developed strong relationships with Los Angeles area clients, subcontractors, architects and consultants, and city building officials and fire departments. These bonds are based on a creative, proactive, and hands-on approach to all aspects of our projects, particularly service and process, schedule, budget, and quality. MEET THE TEAM
Mr. Wu has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of construction and has been a key member of many major projects in the Los Angeles area. For the past 14 years, David’s focus has been pre-construction, cost control, and cost management. He has worked closely with architects and designers, construction managers, and end-users to create detailed and robust budgets, thorough analysis of project feasibility, and value engineering. He has a Master of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Southern California.
Mr. Whelan has 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He has a hands-on and detail oriented management style that focuses on the key elements of budget, schedule, quality, and process. Mark has completed many successful projects ranging in size from 3,000 SF to 140,000 SF across many market sectors such as finance & investment, technology, retail, legal, entertainment, advertising, showroom, high-end residential, and museum. He has a BSc (hons) degree in Quantity Surveying and Project Management from the University of Wales.
Mr. Paniagua has over 27 years of construction experience. He started his career as a carpenter at a young age and climbed the ladder to become one of the most respected field superintendents in the industry. His responsibilities include site supervision, coordination of all field activities, participation in the creation of construction schedules for each project, coordination with local permitting and inspection agencies, quality control, and close coordination with subcontractors, building management and engineers, and building security.
